The moves to the downside are impulsive (aggressive). The moves to the upside are corrective (mixed and volatile). This still offers a downside bias. Although a break of trend line support at 0.7665 is needed to confirm the outlook, with a strong rejection of gains overnight, I am happy to get short.

    Good morning all!
With little noteworthy data until Friday's US CPI data, we enter earning season starting today with Blackrock, followed by the big US banks until Friday and Alcoa in a weeks' time. This might give the dollar some more tangible direction. Wishing all a great rest of the week!

93.00 and 93.50 are both critical in the USD... think the minutes tonight could get very messy... an immediate break of 93.00 and we have solid support...

FWIW the sp500 is reaching rare levels IMHO. The number of continuous close new highs is at a record and the ascending continuous day lows are getting there too. These two scenarios have often presaged a good mean reversion. The risks to the downside are ''LARGE'' compared to a potential further rally. Trade very carefully if you are bullish. personally I prefer the bearish scenario.... :-)
