Mean Reversion Traders often look at the extreme end of moves for a safer trade scenario to trade. yesterday the SP500 had a range in excess of 24pts from yesterdays close price to the prior close price which usually permits a safer tarde strategy. We also know the long mean reversion trades have a higher probability of success usually taking a maximum three trading days to complete the move. Chart attached with the target.

Interesting markets in general....all seem to be pushing to their year highs but lacking momentum. Perhaps the marketplace et al has finally fully priced every political promise of the egoist and likewise every fiscal policy nuance ? There simply aren't anymore bargains to be had currently and imho expect a strong profit taking to occur next week ! The FTSE100 is my first short to take as near the 9pm last trade GMT as possible as as scaled short ! SP500 is stalling but lets see how far it wants to squeeze the bears before committing to a trade there.

EUR/USD Fri 17th March. For those who are Nimble and "Dont get married to positions" - remember even Financial divorces can be Costly . 1.0786 is a Must hold or fold . The roundie above at 1.0800 +/-20 band can act as a resistor. So Bias is even if spikes pops above you will see a good retrace. Watch and trade what you see. Price is King and it may falter pre 1.0786.
