With a potential "major downward adjustment" looming on the horizon I would like to solicit a couple of viewpoints regarding protecting the profits made with a typical stock portfolio - consisting of mainly Financial Institutions, Mutual Funds (worldwide) and Medical sectors.

    A. Go to cash altogether?
    B. Switch to defensive sectors, e.g. Medical in the near future?
    C. Set "trailing stops" on all of them? (Hoping that the sky does not fall down overnight, with exchanges being closed)
