Trading strategy
Garnry’s approach to trading equities is systematic using the quant team’s equity factor model taking multiple fundamental and technical factors into account.
Peter Garnry joined Saxo Bank in 2010 and is Head of Quantitative Strategies. He focuses on how to apply computer models to financial markets, develops trading strategies and analyses of the equity markets as well as individual company stocks applying statistics and models.

Garnry developed Saxo Bank’s Equity Radar, an equity factor model that daily scores all the most liquid stocks across the North America, Europe, Asia-Pacific and Latin America. In the Quantitative Strategies team, Garnry and his colleagues are developing computer models generating signals and predictions across wide range of instruments. He is also responsible for Saxo Bank’s dynamic asset allocation strategy called Stronghold.

Garnry is a graduate from Copenhagen Business School and is a CFA® charter holder.
