That's fair answer, thanks Georgio. I really love GO because uploading Charts is fast(speedy)! Legacy desktop is very very slow. Hope SaxoTraderPRO will be speedy too.

Hi Georgio, I have an options roll coming up with ABB, I am long 1000@19.80, short the Apr 23 calls@.50. My idea is to roll into the May 23 calls for a small credit. I would usually go for the strike higher, but its complicated by the stock going ex-div on the 19th of Apr. As I want to hold the stock, would you advise rolling before the holiday, or wait till next wk? All this pre-supposes the stock remains above 23CHF.

There's not much to roll for, .10 net credit. I would just close out of the Aprils and sell another when stock gets a little higher.

UPDATE: Closing VIX strategic trade with a gain — #SaxoStrats

Product Manager Futures and Options / Saxo Bank
    Denmark
We are closing the position on the 14/16 19 April call spread that we had initiated on March 17. Volatility has expanded as expected on geopolitical concerns and upcoming first-quarter earnings. We do not foresee the VIX index moving up further in the remaining week till expiration. So we are closing the position today for $1.05, achieving a net gain of $0.75 per contract, or over 200%.

Hello Dan, I started to replay all your great webinars dedicated to FX Options. One Q from me. Will there be in the future possible to see "FX profit profile graph" for multi-leg strategies, e.g. in new Saxo platform or elsewhere? Thanks.

Hi, I did not do the trade, but I have added Gilead to my watchlist.
But I meant we could buy the Jan 70 calls, and sell an equal amount of the Apr, or May 70 calls, looking for a slow rise the Gilead share price, while benefiting from time decay in the near short call position.

VIX pushing higher up +3.55% pre-market, as traders accumulate SPX options for a quick hedge. Should be another interesting session. Earning season around the corner. Risk reversal still make sense.

Can Gilead Sciences shares recover? — #SaxoStrats

Head of Equity Strategy / Saxo Bank
    Denmark
Gilead Sciences is the cheapest of the major US biotechnology firms, but its low cost is well-justified as the firm's HCV franchise is in free-fall and the other drugs in the portfolio cannot offset the drag in the short term. In the longer term, though, we believe Gilead shares could be primed for recovery.
