Gold: The selling pressure in stocks during the past hour has given gold a small boost back into positive territory. Technically the mid-twenties once again provided support and as the price broke 1340 some light short covering was seen. Gold seems ready for a correction which the big sell-off on Friday highlighted but the risk of an escalation in Ukraine are making traders nervous about being caught short. As a result of this we are most likely going to stay within the established range (1325 - 1360) for little while longer.

The grains complex is a strong long-term bear market. The short-term rally seen in the past few days offers a favorable entry opportunity into new short positions.
