There is mounting evidence that the spot gold price has put in an intermediate low, from which a rally higher will now unfold. Last week, we saw the price break lower from a small triangle consolidation pattern, before this move was quickly reversed on Monday and during the Asian trading session today. Often, such pattern occur right at the end of prolonged trends. Second to this, we have bullish momentum divergence on many momentum indicators, with the %B shown on the daily chart as an example. Finally, the spot silver price failed to set new lows for the decline. Often, when the silver and gold price fail to confirm new highs or lows, significant turns for the precious metals complex is taking place.

We will risk 1% of our capital on this trade.

Looking to go long GBPAUD after a dovish tone in the BoE minutes while the situation in Australia appears to deteriorate with money markets pricing in a 50% chance of a rate cut in May. We have seen the recent trend upwards from September 2014 peaking at 2.002, we have seen a corrective move in a triangle formation with support tested 3 times along our channel . A break above our 55 day SMA and the important 1.95 psychological level will confirm the move.

Entry: Buy at or above 1.956
Stop: 1.915 below our 100 day SMA
    Target: 2.04
Note: We may look at a buying opportunity at a pull back from 2.00

Looking to go long Telstra (ASX: TLS), after a strong rally from October 2014 to February 2015 we have seen a nice corrective formation presenting us with an opportunity to go long after finding support around our 38.20 fib retracement level.. There is also a case of mildly bullish divergence with our oscillator

    Entry: Stop buy at 6.35
Stop Loss: Stop Sell at 6.10
    Time Frame: Two weeks
    Target: 6.70

Short EURGBP at 0.722 with a stop loss at 0.7313 after the decline from February 2015 there has been a pull back to the 61.80 fib level. There is also some evidence of mildly bearish divergence with our slow stochastic oscillator suggesting the broader trend lower is ready to resume. For now we have a target of March's low of 0.7012
