Dow hits 21,000 and is now overbought on the RSI on the 10 minute, 60 min, 4 hour, Daily, Weekly AND Monthly timeframes. Can't help but think things are getting a tad silly up here...

Remember though, a high RSI reading on it's own, even on all timeframes, is not a sell signal. RSI dropping back below 75 is the sell signal...

Just have a look at that daily chart. RSI has been overbought since February 14th...

Things are certainly looking very "frothy" today, though...

A fake balance of trading for US or just a demand decrease before an industrial crisis?
The import of Industrial Products including Oil and Petroleum Products, the Capital Goods, Automotive and Vehicles decreased significantly so here is the higher US Trading Balance today for September! The same will happen next month when the October will be reported, but the oil and petroleum imports (already reported with significant decrease for this month) will increase the balance again. On the other side, the reversal will come: the huge stock of oil and soon the distillates increases (now refineries are up 87.6% but to the end of November there is no refinery in the Plan for Outages and the Production Capacity will increase to almost 95-98%).

AUD Traders: Don't forget tonight's RBA Monetary Policy Statement, to be released at 0130 GMT. There is two-way risk on this release as it may confirm what the market perceived as a firm shift into neutral guidance from the RBA's Stevens at this Tuesday's meeting, despite the actual rate cut.Meanwhile, the flipside risk is that the market put too much emphasis on this perceived shift and that the statement contains a pointed phrase or two on the exchange rate or other comments on guidance as the RBA disapproves of how the market interpreted Stevens' comments.

Even after the reaction, we'll have to contend with the implications of the US employment report later in the day for AUDUSD, which looks ready to pivot strongly one way or another into Friday's close with these two big event risks looming. The bears will want to see a close below 0.7800 to boost the technical argument in favour of a test of the 0.7533 lows. Bulls will hope for weak US payrolls and a close back above 0.8000.

Another fine day. $USDJPY got spanked today, sold at a small profit and bought it all back lower. It will head higher i the coming days/weeks, medium term target is 121 and longer term 125.

$AAPL still outperforms, small add today.

I will be buying Friday at the close and will place a sell order at 1% profit. Backtesting shows that this will be hit with high probability during the first three days of next week.

S&P 500 Pre-open Technical Outlook: 2069.75 was yesterday's high in day session trade. After hours we extended higher to 2079.50. It's been choppy since but we should keep an eye on 2069.25 on the open as a hold here would be an early sign that the bulls intend to give the ATH at 2088.75 a test today.

If we DON’T hold 2069 watch 2060-62. If this doesn’t hold we have to wait for next week for an assault on the highs.

Above yesterdays after hours high at 2079.50 there isn’t anything stopping a move to 2088.75. Above here the next targets are 2118 and 2124.

I’m bullish in case you haven’t worked it out!

Here’s the levels we put out to clients in our report earlier:

    2124
    2118
    2112
    2100
    2088.75*
    2082.75
    2079.50

    2070
    2062
    2058.50
    2053.25
    2045
    2040
    2036

    And here’s a chart:
