Where next for silver after the surge?: Hansen

Ole Hansen
Ole Hansen, head of commodity strategy at Saxo Bank, explains why precious metals, such as silver and platinum, are performing strongly.

He says the focus is starting to return to gold, but Chinese traders and investors are showing an interest in silver similar to that of steel and iron ore in April.

US bond yields continue to collapse and Brexit uncertainty remains, says Hansen, but this is providing an environment where precious metals can be attractive.

Ole warned Monday that the silver rally was facing a road block and that a retracement to the $19.90/oz area was likely. https://www.tradingfloor.com/posts/from-the-floor-soaraway-silver-faces-road-block-7876822
