Two weeks in and the new is off to a great start

Co-founder and CEO / Saxo Bank A/S

It’s hard to believe, but the new has been up and running for two weeks now. In that time, we have received a lot of valuable feedback from our members and clients regarding the new site and what it is offering.

As you know, our goal is to transform trading into a new social experience, where traders can share their trades with their peers, follow and copy other traders, as well as trade directly from

We are well on the way to achieving many of our aims since becoming the world’s first serious financial player to move into multi-asset online social trading.

I have mentioned previously that we are continuing to develop the site as it is in beta mode. And because we are very much a client-driven bank, we will always welcome your feedback on what you think about the new and what you feel could enrich or optimise the site.

Currently, our primary focus is on fully migrating everything over to the new TradingFloor from the old site, which will be shutting down soon. We appreciate that many of you are used to the old site and are still discovering the new, but it is very important to us that we make the transition as smooth as possible for you.

Our developers are also working on connecting the new with social networks such as Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn. Many of you will be familiar with the social network sign-in feature on the old site and soon, you will have it on the new and will be able to share your favourite news, views and analysis with your followers.

Saxo Bank is aware that mobile is the future and many clients like to trade and read market-moving news on the go, whether it’s from their iPads, tablets and smartphones. I am accessing the new TradingFloor from my iPad and while it works very well, it is still not as optimised as it should be. But again, that is something we are working on.

I am really delighted that we are getting such valuable feedback from all of you and hope you keep your comments coming. In the meantime, watch this space for regular updates from me.

FWIW your Nele Klindt is very fast at responding and uber keen on the site development. The changes are good and our ''Dashboard'' heading has started to have the feel of the current older system with added value/bolt on sections. Definitely better and Saxo TV on the new site does not crash my system and doesn't auto start which has been an issue before-hand so thanks for the amendments :-)

I agree that the new site is improving rapidly. I still prefer working on the old site though as the "readability" there is much better (font style and size). Also the colors (titles and comments) are softer for the eyes.

Thanks for your input. Dave, I'll definitely be in contact with you again for more off site discussions!

Hi Nele, is it possible to include a big "Go to my dashboard" button on top of every page as there is in the old version. I believe many of us always use that page as everything we want to follow is on there.

@bvlaerhoven. You always have direct access to your Dashboard. By clicking your profile image you get a menu with a link to your Dashboard. Have a look at the picture.

In the new TradingFloor our navigation is quite different because of the new type of content that is available. We are reworking it again to essentially to make it easier to navigate to the content you know from the old TradingFloor.

A search function is on its way, however being a Beta site, living alongside the old TradingFloor, it is not functional yet due to Google Search standards in terms of site indexing. Well, that got quite technical. In short - we're working on it.

Our developers are working extremely hard to enrich your experiences with the new TradingFloor and, as Nele says, that all-important search function is on its way. Keep the feedback coming as we are paying close attention to everything you say.
