This may be of use for market direction more than true prediction of day highs and lows. Quite a few authors claim to have invented this trade strategy but in truth I have seen this in a lot of older stats books on probability than trading but a useful guideline...fwiw.
I have seen it used on the major fx pairings and mainstream indices !

Remember this is a guideline for probable trading range high and low each day based on the true opening range. So if you were a contrarian trader you would look at the projecte range for trade entry. Or if you wanted to scalp you want a confirmed intraday skew/bias long or short confirmation so you await a close outside the opening range etc etc.
