The DAX may have had a healthy bounce from this morning's lows but all we've actually done is come back to a "Vacuum" resistance at 12012 from Friday's Market Profile... and found sellers. I would be getting short here (11975 last) looking for a fresh test of this morning's 11725 low, which was the lowest print since last February. 11621 is a level below that being a 61.8% Fibonacci retracement, although 11382 is a "better" one to reference/target... I shorted the FTSE on Friday morning's video and am happy with this trade still, and thinking the DAX has more downside too.

I am amazed at how wrong you 'professions' manage to get it. The best strategy in my experience with Saxo, is to do the opposite to Ian or Clive advocate.

Chedzoy, I find with good risk mgmt, then getting it wrong half the time doesn't matter, it's still profitable b/c when you get it right, you get it really right.

Thank you Q and that's how it works for sure.

To try to answer Chedzoy I have to say I haven't personally had a good run on here of late, I'll grant you. It goes like that sometimes. and right now it would appear that batting against the "Buy the dip" trade in the US in Equities seems somewhat fruitless, however good the chart set-ups are. There seems to be a insatiable appetite on that side of the pond. European Equity markets are still underperforming their US counterparts though, with the DAX and FTSE both well below their 200 day SMAs.

aspen aspen
DAX has to close a gap and thereafter we can see lower levels,
but one gap ist at 12143 and the second one at 12400, will see.

It could be that for sure, and good to see you looking at those "day session" gaps aspen, as I think they can be very relevent.... Looks like we'll gap higher this morning so 12110 becomes gap support.

Unlucky on this one guys, seemed like a sound idea given the backdrop right now. Just shows fear/greed are old fashioned emotions in markets, now pain rules supreme
