Though a sudden rise in US Treasury yields could bring trouble to the bond market, this is not where I see the biggest danger. 

In my view, US yields will merely become an instrument of disaster.

My fear is rather that just as the EM bond space and the DM corporate bond market have seen significant growth, the primary marketplace for these same bonds has diminished due to regulatory downscaling from banks.
