#OP2017: Huge gains for Bitcoin as cryptocurrencies rise — #SaxoStrats

Kay Van-Petersen
'A Trump spending binge propels dollar sky high forcing emerging-markets to seek alternatives, creating ideal conditions for Bitcoin to test $2,000.'

Saxo Bank's global macro strategist Kay Van-Petersen explains his outrageous prediction for 2017.

Bitcoin may have lost some of its lustre since those heady days at the tailend of 2013 when it threatened to outstrip gold, but 2017 sees the cryptocurrency once again return as an investor favourite to propel it to record highs.

Out of all the OPs this one has the highest potential. China is driving the price right now but if India goes digital following the massive demonetization there it could prove to be the tipping point for bitcoin and lead to the eventual daily integration of the blockchain into our daily lives.
