MPS: dopo il salvataggio arriva il piano industriale 2017-2021

Dopo l'arrivo del via libera della Ue alla ricapitalizzazione di stato da 5,4 miliardi di euro per il Monte dei Paschi di Siena, si pensa ora al piano industriale 2017-2021. Si prevede una revisione del dimensionamento di tutte le strutture organizzative del gruppo che porterà ad una riduzione di circa 5.500 unità entro il 2021 e la chiusura di 600 filiali su 2000. L’utile netto di Mps al 2021 sarà superiore a 1,2 miliardi di euro, con un Roe pari al 10,7%. La banca, ha spiegato l’ad Marco Morelli, prevede anche di effettuare circa 500 nuove assunzioni. Quella della banca senese rappresenta una operazione che segna “la svolta” per l’intero sistema bancario italiano ha detto il ministro dell’Economia Pier Carlo Padoan, rivendicando la bontà di un intervento che minimizza l’esborso per lo Stato e quindi “non scarica il costo dei salvataggi sui contribuenti”. 

Nel calendario macroeconomico, troviamo in mattinata la pubblicazione dei dati sui servizi PMI in Europa e Regno Unito. Nel pomeriggio occhi puntati invece sugli ordinativi industriali negli Stati Uniti, ed infine in serata si attende la pubblicazione dei verbali dell’ultima riunione del FOMC.

Movimento laterale per il dollaro US in queste prime ore di contrattazione, il dollar index (USDINDEXSEP17) rimane debole e nel range 95,80-96,10. In attesa di nuovi spunti anche EURUSD, che si ferma questa mattina a 1,1365. Perde nuovamente terreno invece lo yen giapponese, USDJPY ritrova quota 113,25 e EURJPY supera in questi minuti 128,70. Infine si indebolisce la sterlina inglese, con GBPUSD che passa di mano a 1,2900 e EURGBP che raggiunge lo 0,8800.

Chiusura con il segno verde per la borsa di Tokyo, l’indice Nikkei (JP225.I) termina la giornata con il +0,25% a quota 20.081 punti. Aperture miste invece per le piazze europee: in negativo troviamo Milano (ITALY40.I) col -0,35%, insieme a Madrid (SPAIN35.I) e Parigi (FRA40.I) poco sotto la parità. Francoforte (GER30.I) segna invece il +0,15% ed in testa alla fila troviamo Londra (UK100.I) a +0.35%.
