Catalonia is in focus today with the Madrid government planning to invoke article 155 of the Spanish constitution, suspending the Catalan regional parliament and replacing it with direct rule from the capital.

Its just after 4:00 AM BST and there is serious yen business out there at the moment, well the past 25 minutes. I haven't created an algo for, but tonight( my time) at least there is some business to be done!

My algo did catch the fun last night but I only caught the full overnight move as a single one way opened trade so only made +98pips last night which is a sad meagre profit compared to your results LOL...activity log and time stamp of my acct attached.
Obviously this is a live acct stmt.

Beautiful, that's a nice catch! I really would like a swing trade algo, this constant trading is not as profitable as a good run.

USDCAD seems to be selling off at the moment, digging through your articles to find the outline on the trading model

She's slow going this morning for me. Pulled off a small EURGBP and even tinier GBPUSD on live algo. Haven't quite figured out how to program the multi currency strategy of yours, but I was watching it all morning, to see if I can find the tempo. Also ran a few more trades on the demo, but this will be my last day on it, my daughters and I are starting summer holidays tomorrow :)

Yeah well done mate....for the algo on eurgbp you can either;
programme each line with trigger data such as ratio and ratio stops and a TIME STAMP reference point for each day.
or
Use the ROC strategy I mentioned and posted an article before

The real issue is measuring from your time reference point exactly how far the cable or eurusd has moved in pips (not price) and as you will see on the 6 line algo you also need to know if they are both moving up or is only one. When you look at the algo it determines your trade on these datasets for individual cable and eurousd direction and rate of change in pips. Your programmers will be able to establish a flow chart easy enough then build the ratio entry stop bits.

The ROC strategy is a weaker programme but works but obviously a lesser success rate and revenue level.

Also have you tried H4 with RSI2 eg Inefficient market pricing? Can I suggest you have a look at the loon today for it? It isn't a continuous algo programme as only triggers at real extreme pricing and was designed for near dated (weekly) options but can still be effective :-)

Sure I'll take a look, I need trade opportunities outside the algo! From what I can tell, and given how my algo works on GBPUSD, it would not have been successful on the multi currency option, as the changes are continuous, it may be best traded manually..
