Yep opened just before the 9pm close on Friday....likewise SP500 fwiw.

Also VIX is above 2 std dev bollinger....usually a warning signal for a market base. A close back into the VIX bollinger implies a buy for a bounce !

SP500 is now showing +9 handles and ftse pre-market is showing +42 :-)

Correction....just looked at the charts and ignore the above. The overview table suggests SP500 and FTSE have rallied by the stated amount but looking at the price on the charts and we see we are just above Fridays close on the FTSE by +12 (now showing premarket 5901) and SP is showing a price value of 1920.00 which is pretty much the same close price as Friday.

Final update; Ironically SP500 in globex has now risen and covered trade at 1931 (+10handles) and FTSE the trade was halved at +12 and the remainder is still running with a stop set at +10 to eliminate risk.

if I followed the Lady Luck strategy, the close on FTSE was 5882 as per SAXO and it open at 5861 so no trade today or ?

The open was at 8am GMT at 5896 = +14....chart attached for you. Lady Luck worked :-)
Chart highlights the 8am open and the corresponding candle and the data box to show the open price at the time stamp 8am. Hope this helps?
