Market Predator what would you regard as the most important greek? FWIW my trade structures are Theta biased as monthly success/probability equates to 84% due to trading the decay curve ONLY. Gamma scalps are too dangerous for me and near term scalping can be cheaply achieved via cfd. Do you also measure IV/IVR?

@fxtime: Welcome and thanks for leaving a message. To be honest Option world is new for me. I'm in learning period. I have some possitive experience with FxOptions (from Long side of course, selling naked Call/Put is really adrenalin sport, not for me). The terms you mentioned: Time decay, Gamma scalp are not completaly new for me. Some intersting presentations from Georgio Stoev but also from Dan Larsen. Maybe Mr. Ken Veksler might be very smart in this area "?" I've no stable approach or methodology yet. Sorry for my plain English. I'm glad to hear from you sir and reading yours posts believe, you're proffesional! Stay in touch and squawk as needed, Thx! MP

84% of options expire worthless and premium(s) are erased 100% thus if we turn the trade on its head and sell OTM premium approx 2.00std dev away to permit the market to oscillate without harming your account then you will effectively bank the losing premium. Consider a 3mth option....time decay does not occur until 47 - 55 days away from the expiry date so do not enter a trade until this point in time. After which time decay becomes corrosive to premium and rapidly compounds the corrosion as it nears the expiry date. Therefore establish a straddle or strangle at that 47 - 55 day period. BUT if you buy a put to open or buy a call to open the margin reserves are high therefore reverse them and sell an OTM put to open which makes a synthetic long and sell a OTM call to open which makes a synthetic short and the margin required drops. As an added bonus your break even is enhanced in your favour. The OTM level needs to be 2 std devs away.

@Feders: if you want to ask @fxtime, then better to squawk directly to his profile. Squawk to my original squawk which is originated to my Wall doesn't mean that @fxtime will be notified. I don't understand why all users of current squawk are not notified, but this is the way how TF currently Works :(
