Hi Georgio, for over 12 months now I was advised that Saxo will offer an options spread trade ticket by end of 2015 and will also add ability to place a stop on sold option trades early in 2016 after removing this functionality in late 2015. Can you please advise if these will be released anytime soon.

Hi Stacky, thanks for your question. Combination order ticket is coming this fall, after couple of delays. No plans to bring the stop loss at the moment. Thx for your business and patience. Will make sure to let you once we release the ticket. We did release the Greeks last month.

Thanks Georgio, the only thing for me is that by not allowing stop losses to be put on sold positions Saxo is effectively promoting bad trading practices which is always to trade with a stop loss. This makes it hard to manage risk with Saxo.

I understand where you come from but Stop losses do not guarantee execution as we know. We should not rely on them when it comes to managing risk. A short option should be hedged by another option or underlying.
