Brent may have survived the first test of its defences at the the $50/barrel mark, but with Opec running out of firepower and Libya coming back online, it might only be a matter of time. Meanwhile, last-ditch negotiations could rescue Trump's healthcare plan.

Cable is proving interesting imho.
Daily chart attached.
It is highly unusual for the major fx pairing (any) not to at least test the 50% impulse level from in this case the Brexit move. Those trading from Ichimoku will have a slightly lower value.

I thought you had weighed anchor? LOL
Interesting that the cable has an optimum stop of 45pips as you know but if you trade beyond 45pips from the last close price as a directional trade you would bank +20 minimum by now. The average gains are far larger but the worst case scenario is +12pips fwiw. Happy sailing :-)

Again cable exceeds the 45pip movement from last nights close value. I use 9pm time stamp so close for me was 1.3335 and market now shows 1.3265 so a simple trade on the break of a 45pip move (normal range) from the close means a short at 1.3290 and currently you would be in profit by +25....it worked also on the usdcad again. Just remember that minimum profit is 12pips so use that as your base level profit target to work from.

Sounds like I should be at work :), but there are limited sunny days left in Vancouver, the rains will soon arrive and so weighing anchor seemed like the best thing to do....

9pm BST is what I use but you can use midnight BST too fwiw,,,,I should have stayed with the usdcad and the cable as would have earned a lot more LOL. Still taking the fastest ROCE is always my preference.
Enjoy the sailing :-)

Also ref timings...you can use any time stamp point BUT you must be consistent and have a 24hr window for trade duration also you must start the the time stamp in an illiquid time otherwise you will heavilly dilute the results. Hope this makes sense? It's my retirement bash and I must now have a life time supply of wine given to me but we have impromptu decided to cook for the masses LOL.
