    Nokia is working hard in order to turn the company around. Although Nokia growth has been challenged by weak wireless market conditions, the company is cutting expenses and investing in 5G radio gear, and will emerge by 2020 in key economies such as the US and China.

    The Nikkei has topped 20,000 for the first time since late 2015, and the US economy received an extra boost from the ADP National Employment Report, which showed US private hiring is booming. The result led to Asian stockmarkets not wanting to be left behind this morning.

    Some charts: USDMXN and Sampo.

    USDMXN seems to have gained all that it will on Trump alone. The Mexican central bank has hiked rates, and being short MXN causes a negative carry. Speculators betting on weaker MXN might get tired.

    Some sort of sideways movement - or possibly returning to daily chart's moving average level given enough time - is possible. Going long MXN now sounds scary, but maybe that is why it makes perfect sense.
