The result from the in-depth review of the 130 largest banks in the euro area was better than expected and sparked gains in Asia session, which carried into the European session this morning. Among the winners are Austrian and German banks.

    Equity On The Move: Meda shares tank 7% on Q2 miss
    Meda is the most-traded Euro STOXX 600 stock in early trading down 7%, driven by weaker than estimated Q2 EBITDA and a disappointing EBITDA margin. The 25% decline in the share price since the peak earlier this year is undue in our view as the underlying long-term fundamentals have not materially changed. Today's plunge is a good opportunity to gain exposure to Meda.
