    Fed's trigger finger requires clearer target
    The Fed's minutes of its July 28-29 meeting illustrated that it remains a divided house of hawks and doves with arguments for and against a September rate rise. An early increase would speak volumes for the confidence the Fed has in the economic outlook of the US and it would also underline the view that the emergency conditions of the economy that warranted rates at the zero bond has passed.
