US unemployment queue lengthens again

We expect US August Non-Farm payrolls to show a decline of 125,000 in August due in large part to dismissals among temporary Census workers.
The unemployment rate is expected to edge up to 9.6% from 9.5%.

The private sector is expected to add 5,000 workers with the service sector accounting for most of the net job hiring. The government sector is expected to shed a total of 130,000 positions though most will be due to the Census, which is the decennial head count of residents in the USA. State and locals are also
expected to let people go on net.
