FX CFTC: Net dollar long jumps to a 15-week high

Hedge funds and other speculative investors bought a significant amount of dollars during the week ending April 10 according to data from the CFTC. The net dollar long jumped to a 15-week high at 20 billion and continued the longest unbroken period of long dollar positions since records began in 1999.

All of the eight IMM currency futures saw selling, apart from CHF and NZD, with sellers especially attacking EUR, AUD and GBP.
