                  David Karsbøl David Karsbøl, Chief Economist and member of Senior Management Group
                  David Karsbøl is the head of Saxo Bank Strategy & Research and is responsible for the overall macroeconomic views of Saxo Bank. David concentrates on Business Cycle Analysis and subscribes to the reasoning of the so-called Austrian School of Economics (Menger, Schumpeter, von Mises, von Hayek etc.). He believes that understanding debt cycles is integral to understanding the general business cycle. David is one of the bank's most visible strategists and is a frequently quoted commentator on macroeconomic issues in the financial media and is known for his contrarian thoughts.

                  John J. Hardy FX specialist, Consultant
                  John is Consulting FX Strategist for Saxo Bank. John has developed a broad following from his popular and often quoted daily Forex Market Update column, received by Saxo Bank clients and partners, the press and sales traders. John is a regular guest and commentator on television, including CNBC and Bloomberg. He also writes regular ad-hoc commentary focusing on the major currencies, Central Bank policies, macro-economic trends and other developments and is one of the authors of the Saxo Bank Quarterly Outlooks and the Outrageous Claims reports. John was named as one of the most influential people in Forex in 2008 and regularly tops the FX Week one-month and 12-month currrency forecast index.

                  Christian Tegllund Blaabjerg – Equity strategist and analytical expert
                  Christian Tegllund Blaabjerg is Equity Strategist at Saxo Bank. Christian works with equity market and single stock analysis using a top-down approach. He identifies macro forces that could affect the investment environment before they become obvious, and then focuses on individual issues within sectors and single stocks to determine how they will be affected, whether they can capitalize on them, and if the stocks are attractively priced. Before joining Saxo Bank, Christian worked as a quantative analyst for Novozymes. Christian appears regularly on major financial networks including CNBC and Bloomberg and in printed media.

                  Mads Koefoed - Market Strategist
                  Mads Koefoed is a Market Strategist at Saxo Bank. Mads’ primary focus is macroeconomics and equities, and he is responsible for the bank’s Cross Asset Research. In addition, he focuses on the development of theStrategy Team’s econometric models. Prior to joining Saxo Bank, Mads spent two years with Danske Capital, where he worked in the Danish Equities team.

                  Nick Beecroft - Senior FX Consultant
                  An Honours Graduate from Oxford University, Nick Beecroft brings over 25 years of international trading experience within the financial industry, including senior Global Markets roles at Standard Chartered Bank, Deutsche Bank and Citibank. Nick was a member of the Bank of England's Foreign Exchange Joint Standing Committee.

                  Alan Plaugmann - Head of Futures and Fixed Income
                  Alan is a specialist in all traded futures: Interest Rate and Financial Futures, Equity Index Futures, Currency Futures and Commodity Futures. Alan majored in finance at London University and is a native Danish speaker and fluent in English. Prior to joining Saxo Bank in 2003, Alan spent 12 years in London working at CB Corporation in the Advance Arbitrage Trading Group and Advance Trading Group with focus on US & European bond arbitrage, market making and proprietary trading. Alan is available for comments on commodities, especially energies and precious metals, in addition to European and US Fixed Income and Money Market Futures.                   Ole S. Hansen, Senior Manager, CFDs and Listed Products
                  Ole Hansen is a specialist in traded futures with particular focus on commodities. He has previously worked 15 years in London most recently for a multiasset futures and foreign exchange hedge fund where he was in charge of the trade execution team.

                  Michael Schmeja - Global Head of Derivatives Sales
                  Michael work's with Saxo Bank's direct options business. He joined Saxo bank in 2009 from the Royal Bank of Scotland for where he covered financial institutions in Switzerland, Germany and Austria on all FX products. Previously Michael was Managing Director, Head of Foreign Exchange and Money Market for The Private Wealth Management Group at Deutsche Bank, and prior to that, Michael worked at JPMorgan Chase where he was responsible for FX Spot, swaps, forwards and options in Germany and Austria.
